I am so scared, I just got home, I was running. i think she was right behind me. My heart bit like crazy, I'm breathing heavily...
It's about 3.30 am, I was partying downtown Aarhus, were i live.
I was partying with my new friends, we had so much fun until it happen...
"I didn't have so much fun in ages" I said to myself like thousand during the evening. We started the night at a small pub which called "Hos Anders" (at Andres in English). We have been at "Hos Anders" since 17.00
It was about 22.30 when the bar lady said that we have to go because they are closing the pub. So we left to a place called "Sound check", its a really good place to party.
By that time it was only Tim, Lora, Anna and me. Just before we entered to "Sound check" i had a feeling that the group of guys standing on the other side of the street were talking about us. I understand a bit of Danish but it wasn't Danish what i heard. It was Arab. I'm from Israel, all my life I was surrounded by the Arabic language so its not foreign to me.
Just a sec before entering the club, I had to turn around to see their faces. That turned out to be a mistake.
The mistake was because I just handed my ISRAELI driver licence to the doorman who looked at the funny letters, then at me and asked me in firm voice: "Where are you from?" "Israel" I said, trying to speak loud enough for the doorman to hear me without letting the Arab guys hearing.
"ISRAEL"?!?!? the doorman shouted. Fuck! now they are looking at me and they look kind of angry.
I took the driver licence from the doorman and ran in. Fucking sweaty and upset.
Shit! someone it knocking on my door. WTF, its fucking 4 am! ok, I'm going to open the door now...

About my studies (or friends?)
A month and a half ago i've started studying at Business academy Aarhus. I'm studying "Marketing management innovation and entrepreneurship".
To be honest i NEVER in my life thought i would go back to school... If you knew me you would think the same. You see, i wasn't the best student in the world. I'll give you some examples, when i was about 6, on the first day of school I made the teacher cry..
later on at the age of 13 I was bored at school so I climbed to a roof of a building and jumped down on the bushes. The bushes were thick enough to hold me so I didn't fall all the way to the ground. About a week later, when the other kids saw me doing it, there were no more bushes in our school.. When i was old enough, at the age of 16, I would go to school for about an hour and then hitchhike back home so i could go to work. I loved working with the cows. To conclude, I wasn't a good student.
I'm now 26 and I'm proud to say that so far i LOVE my studies. Actually I'm not sure if its the studies that I love so much or having friends again... I lived in Denmark for about two years now and only now after so long, I actually have some social life.
Danes are really awkward sometimes, especially when you come from Israel. We Israelis are so open and loud, whether the Danes are so quite. It is almost impossible to have a danish friend when you are a new immigrant in Denmark.
I'll finish this post with a Danish phrase: åpiækbmø åøæmgø jkgpæækgko jhåjbntfkjbegpå. Tak

Weird Danish
Hey all of you out there!
This first time will be about me. My background and where I am right now in life.
So, my name is Dani Feller, I'm from Israel, was born in the end of 1985 in a kibbuts. I am a true KIBBUTSNIK in nature, I'm a hard working dude that spent a lot of time working as a COWBOY.
My life brought me to Denmark. I'm married to a Dane. I lived here for about two years already so I've got some insite about Denmark, Danes and all that is included in it.
Since I'm not a blog reader, I dont really know who is reading this right now. But I would very much like to make it a bit more interactive than just me writing and you reading. So to give you an idea of what I mean by: Interactive. I've asked a friend about what she would want to know about me?
Her question: what is the weirdest thing about Danes? (she is danish...)
Answer: Wow, only one thing?!?! that would be tough. I think that the weirdest think about the Danish people is their language! Danish is so fucking hard! but besides being hard its also funny and wierd at the same time.
Lets start with the letters. Å Æ Ø that is so wierd, actually the letters might be wierd but not as the sounds they make when trying to say them. There are 49 different sound in Danish. Sometimes when Danes speak it sounds like they dont know what they try to say themselfs. I've learned Danish for a year now, and I have to say that; The first thing you understand in danish after learning it is that when two Danes talk with each other half of the time the other is asking: HVAD? meaning, WHAT?
They dont understand each other!!! now imagine how is it for a foreigner..
But on the other hand, I'm a fucking Israeli! My language sounds like arabic... 1-0 Denmark
